Little Ways Go A Long Way

Little ways go a long way, little things do count.
Often we hear people 'going green' that sometimes we let it pass in ignorance or assumption that our planet will always remain in sunshine with sparrows greeting the morning skies. There is always a reason behind an action.

Going green starts in your every day lifestyle.
Sometimes, you do not have to do 'big' things to make a difference. Little ways go a long way.

Start your mornings by turning off the water tap when you're brushing your teeth.

Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle!
No, we do not mean girlfriends/boyfriends. Reuse and recycle your college textbooks for instance! What's important is the knowledge from its contents, not how 'white' it looks like from the outside. In fact, hand-me-down textbooks are better because you get additional knowledge from side notes written by the previous owner of the book!

Party people, leave the disposable utensils, cups and plates at the supermarket shelves! As tough as it is to go against convenience, try using the plates, cups, and utensils in your cabinets. A little dish-washing wouldn't kill. :)

Use reusable shopping bags and lunchboxes! Surely the first thing that popped into your mind is the 'Go Green Grocery Bag' from your local supermarkets. But no, we meant those stylish fun-looking ones that you can purchase at a very affordable price! In fact, tote bags are in trend right now!
Opt for tupperwares instead of polystyrene boxes as your lunch box too!

Carpool! Drivers, if you're having a grouchy day and feel reluctant to fetch a friend, make some cash? Charge your friend, with a reasonable price, of course! Maybe the value of a drink at your local mamak stall? Disclaimer: True friendship worth more than dollar bills! :)

Save water! Use 'low flush' toilets! That applies only when your 'output' does NOT fill the entire bowl, of course! :)

Last but definitely not least, always THINK 'GREEN'. Have an active conscious mind on doing your little part to help save OUR planet for ourselves, and people in the future. :)
